Admission Requirements and Academic Progression Criteria
General Entry Criteria
- Completion of senior secondary education or equivalent (WAEC, GCSE, BAC, A-Levels, or national exams).
- Minimum of 5 passes including Mathematics and English.
- For technical fields, a strong background in science or relevant vocational subjects is preferred.
- Applicants must be 17 years or older at the time of admission.
- Proof of English proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS) unless native/educated in English.
- Portuguese or German language knowledge is an advantage for partner university progression.
- 300–500 word motivation letter stating interests and career goals.
- Online/in-person interview (recommended).
- Valid passport (min. 2 years validity) or national ID.

Degree Progression Milestones
Diploma Certificate
End of Year 2- Complete Semesters 1–4 with required minimum CGPA.
- Finish all practical placements, assignments, and capstone projects.
- Complete at least two vocational/industry training placements.
- Submit and defend a vocational capstone project.
- Finalize Cape Verdean residency permit process by End of Year 1.
BSc Degree Certificate
End of Year 4- Successfully transition to a partner international university.
- Complete coursework, research, and specialization modules (Years 3 & 4).
- Submit and present a final capstone research thesis or applied project.
- Pass all academic evaluations and meet host university degree standards.
Requirements for International Progression
- Process residency permit between Year 1 & 2 with International Office guidance.
- Obtain appropriate study visa for partner country (Portugal, Germany, USA, or New Zealand).
- Maintain good academic/behavioral record to qualify.
- Placement depends on specialization, performance, and partner availability.
Important Notes
All residency and visa costs are to be borne by the student. Students are advised to keep copies of all legal and academic documents throughout the program.
Dual certification offers both local vocational and international academic credentials, positioning students for global opportunities.
